Boston was the the birthplace of both America's first newspaper, lasting for one issue, and America's first continuing newspaper -- making the city a fine setting to discuss the challenges facing newspaper publishing today. THE NAME Does "Newspaper" still describe what the division is about? Would "newsmedia" (as INMA now uses) or another description be better? Or does "newspaper" continue to fit the division as well as it fits ASNE and NAA? See Susan Keith's call for a discussion in Leadtime.
