Inez Kaiser Graduate Student
of Color Awards

AEJMC Public Relations Division

Donation Form | Nomination Form

All faculty members who teach public relations once again are invited to support the Inez Kaiser Graduate Student of Color Awards program.

Each year, domestic and international graduate students of color become members of AEJMC and the Public Relations Division through the generosity of faculty members.

Each donation of from $10 to $60 will help cover one year's membership to AEJMC and the PR Division, which includes all the publications. The awards introduce graduate students of color studying public relations to the activities of AEJMC and PRD, thereby encouraging academic career goals.

Any graduate student of color pursuing a graduate degree in public relations or conducting research in the area of public relations is eligible. This includes international students as well as American students.

Faculty members are invited to become a sponsor by completing a downloadable donation form. In addition, faculty are urged to recommend names of graduate students to receive an award by completing a downloadable nomination form.

Please return forms by the April 15, 2007 deadline to:

Inez Kaiser was the first African-American woman to head a public relations agency with national clients. She was also the first African-American woman to become a member of the Public Relations Society of America.

Please be part of the awards that bear her name by nominating potential graduate students of color and by becoming a sponsor for a graduate student.
